Up in Lights

For years people have been telling us THEATREWORKS was the best kept secret in town.  This was a compliment of a very mixed order, since it is in our interest to be not only completely open and transparent but also highly visible.  Thanks to a very generous grant from the H. Chase Stone Trust, we have taken a major step towards full disclosure.  Last week we installed our THEATREWORKS banners on the side of University Halll, so for the first time the public will be fully aware of our address. The banners were designed by Thomas Ema,and we love them. We won't say this is the best sign in Colorado Springs,but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better one, or one better placed (our banners line up at Austin Bluffs and Union, one of our busiest intersections located in the geographical center of our town).

The smiling  gentleman with the nose is Khris Lewin, our Cyrano de Bergerac.  The startled lady on the right is Jenny Lee Mitchell in Alice in Wondersland.

 
 
 

So at last the secret is out.  THEATREWORKS is up in lights, and on the map, and I hope we are all the better and happier for it.  Be our guest and do a drive-by at your earliest convenience.
