Subscribe today (if you haven’t already)!
Subscribing to THEATREWORKS is really easy. And completely painless. And totally about you. You pick the shows, you pick the dates, and we’ll build you your perfect package. The only way you can go wrong is by paying full price for tickets, which subscribers NEVER do! You can purchase your subscription online or by calling the box office.
Shout out to a world-class volunteer
The whole THEATREWORKS team would like to give a gigantic shout out to Terri Harrison - a volunteer extraordinaire! Not only does she help with carpentry, sewing, cleaning, painting and building, but she also brings the most delicious treats for casts and crews, and she’s a subscriber and she’s a donor! Thank you Terri, for all your hard work. We love you!
London Tour - January 3 - 13
We’re off to London for the 18th year in a row, and we hope you’ll join us! We’ll be staying in a five star hotel, seeing world class theatre, and toasting to good friends and amazing performances. Prices start at $3,850 (not including airfare). Details online or email london@theatreworkscs.org.
The tent is up!
On Sunday, July 15 the THEATREWORKS production crew set up the giant tent for Love’s Labor’s Lost at Rock Ledge Ranch. We’re talking thousands of pounds of materials - the main pole weighs 400 lbs and the top alone weighs over 600 lbs! Thanks to our technical director Roy Ballard and producing director Ryan Neely for putting together a stellar team of actors, staff and volunteers to get this project done!
Book Club
This is going to be great. We're starting a book club. The THEATREWORKS Book Club will look at the texts for the shows we're producing this season. So you'll have a chance to start right where the artists start, with words on a page. Join us for coffee, snacks, and intelligent, insightful discussion with Murray Ross. You can sign up for the first four shows now! We’ll meet the second Saturday of every show. The program is free, but you will need to purchase a copy of each text. Sign up online at theatreworksCS.org.
Garden Party
Join us on Sunday, August 12 for a gourmet dinner and scenes from Love’s Labor’s Lost at the astounding Forest Edge Gardens. Kevin Landis will be cooking (which isn’t something you’ll want to miss) and actors from the show will woo you with sonnets all through the gardens. The cost is $65 per person. Buy your tickets online or by calling the box office.
